Noah Reyes Dennis Frick Fatal Crash

An 18-year-old man from North Brunswick has been charged in connection with a fatal high-speed crash, authorities said.

Noah Reyes has been charged with vehicular homicide in a head-on crash that killed Dennis Frick, 65, of Freehold, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone.

The crash occurred on March 6in the City of New Brunswick.

At about 7 a.m. that day, authorities responded to Route 1 Northbound near the Goodkind Bridge following the report of a crash. 

Police found an Infiniti sedan, which had struck a Ford pickup truck, killing Frick. Reyes was not hurt.

An initial investigation determined that Reyes was driving southbound on Route 1 at a high rate of speed and crossed over the median and struck the Ford pickup truck as it was traveling northbound on Route 1, Ciccone said.

Reyes was been released on pre-trial monitoring and surrendered his passport and driver’s license as a condition of release.

The investigation is active and continuing.
